Livestock Judging
Contact: Clint Bain
Livestock judging teaches students how to evaluate and rank 4 animals within a giving species of livestock, and teaches them how to give an organized set of oral reasons to support the ranking they have chosen. Individuals participating in 4-H livestock judging not only learn how to evaluate livestock, but they also learn decision making skills, communication skills, and team building skills. If you are interested in becoming a part of a winning program, please contact us at the Dyer County Extension Office.
